Wendy and I would love to hear from you and the way you run your newsletter, when she gets back from her holidays could we arrange lunch or something.

Not a problem Sally. It could perhaps go on their notice boards or be emailed to someone.

Sally the Newsletter is currently incurring some delivery problems in Mt Egerton and Gordon alone. North Mt Egerton and Gordon still haven't got their newsletters. To expand at this time will require a person or sytem to get the newsletters to those towns you suggested

A suggestion is that the MCOnline website should be put into our community website newsletter because the more community people we get visiting here the better MCOnline will get and grow.....

Hello all - I am not quite sure who I have replied to, and whether I have done the right thing.

I have done a 'google' search for Mt Egerton and came up with this newsletter page. and found it all quite exciting.

I have an interest Egerton and in the early history and goldmining days - my ggggfather and mother are buried in the cemetery plus I think, other family members.
I am wondering, if via your newsletter it is possible to hear about the history of the area as remembered by local residents.

Personally I think those rec registrations should be issued with an "attitude adjustment training course"! "Youth" tend to have a real problem with common decency!

I know where the cemetary at the top of Mt blackwood is located but it is a bit tricky to find. You can drive some of the way but will need to hike the rest. Was up that way on the weekend trying to show a friend but we took a wrong turn and didn't get there till after dark and hadn't packed a flash light. It's near the tower but I haven't been there in over ten years but prior to that have been there a dozen times or more. I can't remember the names on the grave stones however I do remember one only had 'uncle' written on it. My friend and I will be heading up there in a couple of weeks and I would be happy to help you find it. Let me know if you want to make contact and I can forward my details to you
